Kimberly Hassmann started dancing ballet, tap and jazz at the age of 6. She knew at a very young age that she was born to dance. She started ballroom at the age of 21 while finishing her degree in law enforcement administration at the University of Oklahoma.
Kimberly began training in the International Standard, Latin, and American Smooth and Rhythm. Within six months she was out on the dance floor competing professionally throughout the US. She traveled to New York to increase her training and then moved to Prague, Czech Republic where she continued to pursue her training from some of the best-known coaches in the world.
After taking a few years off to start a family with two beautiful daughters, Shanay and Gabby, she decided to pursue her love of dancing. She opened Shall We Dance? in 2004 and has been in the Anchorage location since 2009.
Her studio has participated in 15 local Dancing With The Stars charity fundraisers in the last 8 years raising money for Hosparus of Southern Indiana, FEAT, Louisville Orchestra, and Feed Your Neighbor.
